This year’s theme: “Let’s Talk About It!”

Did you know?

  • One in five American children have a diagnosable mental illness during a given year.

  • 9-13% of children between the ages of 5 and 17 demonstrate symptoms of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED).

  • Mental illness and behavioral disorders are treatable and recovery is possible. In general, the earlier the treatment begins the less severe the progression of the disease.
